Well congratulations goes out to my brother Andrew and his girlfriend Ciera whom I found out is also expecting their first baby come this September!!
By the end of this year there will be 14 total grandkids! I have added pregnancy ticker boxes for both Wendy and Ciera on the left hand side of the screen, along with mine, so we can all keep track of where everyone is in their pregnancies!
Also this weekend Sariah, Rachel, and Mason all spent the night over at Grandpa's and had a total blast. Liam was given the option of staying overnight as well but while he wants to be involved with what big brother and big sisters are doing, he just wasn't up for a full night away from mom and dad just yet.
Our summer seems to be filling up fast. Pam and the girls (not sure about Jared yet but we are hoping he comes too) will be visiting in June. Abuela and Abuelo are coming in July and Mom and Kait will be visiting in August! So our summer is going to go by fast with all of the fun from family and friends I think!
This Spring I have the kids learning about butterflies as a life science project. They are learning about the butterly's metamorphosis, the life cycle of the butterfly and have learned their new word "chrysalis" the official term for a cacoon.
We purchased 4 caterpillars and have watched them slowly form into their chrysalis's. For a while Joe and I thought 2 had died but to our pleasant surprise on Sunday when we took a peek, they were very much alive and well, and for the first time saw the one caterpillar crawling all over the place while the other was in position to form it's chrysalis.
Today at a glance the caterpillar that was moving is now getting ready to form it's chrysalis and the other has already formed into it's chrysalis. The other 2 that have been in their chrysalis' For a couple weeks now have a big head start. We are all excited to see what these little guys are going to look like.
