I know I am behind in updating the site. I have a lot of pictures to add still but the problem is my FTP (file transfer program) isn't working properly so I haven't been able to upload pictures yet.
Thanksgiving went well. We stayed home with sick kids and had a very nice and fun family Thanksgiving. We watched the parades, put up the Christmas tree and ate a lot.
Last week I started my Chirstmas cookies. Sunday we le the kids decorate their set of cookies and in the next few days we'll be doing our gingerbread house.
All Christmas cards have been sent out last week so hopefully you all got them or at least will. We even took the time to send some to soldiers through a great site called http://AnySoldier.com.
This year we are being minimal on gifts. We also decided to have the kids forgo getting presents for each other and instead had them pick out gifts for The Salvation Army Tree. We took them to the mall and had them each pick out an "angel" tag and then went shopping for that present they picked off the tree. This Thursday we will be dropping off the presents. They are excited about helping the less fortunate, but are still trying to fully understand what they are doing. Sariah and Rachel kind of understand but like the idea of helping others as well.
They are also very excited about Grandma and Kait coming for Christmas and Sariah's birthday. I know I am preparing hard for their arrival as well. This Thursday we will be getting our new couch and next week we are getting the guest bed for Grandma and Chad. The kids are excited about the couch because they know they get to have the old couch in the basement. I still have a lot of cleaning to do but like my sister Pam says picking up after kids is like shoveling snow in a blizzard. I swear I use my Magic eraser every day and still new marks show up on the walls. Yet the kids wonder why I don't leave the crayons and markes out.LOL
So I still have tons to do. I still have to send out invitations to Sariah's Baptism, so if you all read this and are close by and want to join us for Sariah's Baptism, then it will be held on her birthday between 12 and 3. You can call me or e-mail me for more information. I personally still can not believe that she is turning 8.
So again I have a lot of pictures to add, just still trying to get my pictures to upload.
Take care and look for updates.
Happy Holidays!!
