August 2007 Overview
On August 3rd Rachel embarked on her 2 week adventure to New York. She also got her ear's pierced, much to her delight, while in New York.
Rachel loved the one on one attention and pampering she received from her Abuela, Abuelo, and Tio Mike; as well as the dog Delilah. She took advantage of her brief stint as an "only child" and pampering by requesting rice and beans for dinner every single night.
Rachel got to visit Abuelo at work and learn a little about what he does. She also visited her Tio Mike at work and helped him with some of the animals. She now says she wants to be a veteranarian too some day.
Rachel was able to visit the beach and swim in the ocean. She also lucked out and swam in a pool too.
Rachel enjoyed her semi nightly walks down the boardwalk to get ice cream, and she really enjoyed getting a bunch of new clothes, meeting new friends, getting new toys and most of all being with Joe's family.
Rachel may say that having the airline lose her luggage on her trip over was the worst thing that happened to her, but I doubt that since it gave way to a nice shopping trip for her, LOL.
I know we all appreciated this opportunity for Rachel to be able to travel to New York and visit with relatives. We'd like to thank Joe's parent's again for this gift.
Thank You!

In August we also learned that baby Evan was in a breech position. Thankfully my holistic Chiropractor and her massage therapist were able to do a technique on me and Evan and got Evan to flip into the correct position. It was one of the neatest things.
Birthday Overview. . .
Liam turned 4 on August 23rd. He wanted a Thomas themed party. While we couldn't accomodate that completely, we were able to let him pick out a Thomas the Tank toy set, and get him a Thomas the Tank balloon too. Oh and don't for get the cake and ice cream too!
Mom turned 32 on August 25th. I requested a pie instead of a birthday cake this year. One being 37 weeks pregnant I was craving a pie instead of another cake and two, haveing 2 cakes within 2 days can be a little much. It turned out well for us and was very yummy too!

Around August 15th, Grandpa and Jan moved from Michigan to Arizona. A big change for them, and the kids will miss them. Good Luck to them!
