SUNDAYToday was a nice and chilly day so I made some beef stew. The night befor we had brought the pumpkins in so they could warm up before we carved them. A good tip if you don't like freezing your hands off when carving and gutting BTW.
Here are some pictures of the kids eating stew and carving pumpkins. They couldn't wait for dinner and some of them carved while eating.

Yes, Kaden is wearing make-up. They were just fooling around. He didn not like it when they were done though.

Pumpkin guts!
The first one started off as Kaden's. When it got too hard mom took over for him. Because it was a small pumpkin we opened the bottom of the pumpkin and mom though it would be fun to make it look like the pumpkin lost it's "jaw". So it's a jawless pumpkin.
The next two are Mason's and Sariah's.
*That's another great tip too. Never cut the top off. Instead cut the bottom out of the pumpkin. This way you can carry it by the stem as well as have a flat surface to place a candle or light inside the pumpkin.*
Next we have Rachel's and Liam's.
Rachel's is of a cat on a moon with a bat flying around as well as a pumpkin face.
Now Liam had a lot of help too. Mom helped gut it and he attempted to carv it but found eating was a better choice and then soon gave up on the carving. So Rachel happily helped Liam carve the rest of his pumpkin. She says it's a scary pumpkin face.
