When you are faced with
an unwanted pregnancy.

Joe and Stephanie met online in an AOL 1.0 chatroom back in January of 1997. March of 1997 they finally met face to face when Joe flew out to Arizona from New York to meet the woman he fell in love with.

April 1997 Stephanie moved back in with her parents in Michigan to be closer to Joe. There she worked as a courier and a cashier. Joe was working as a manager for Blockbuster. Stephanie's parents were getting tired of the long distance bills and invited Joe to come live with them too. Joe came to Michigan in August of 1997 but only for a few weeks then he moved back to New York. September of 1997 Joe and Stephanie became engaged.

June 20th, 1998 Joseph and Stephanie married. They honeymooned in Mackinac Island, Michigan. After the honeymoon they moved back out to Arizona, since they both love the weather there and the community as well. On December 30th 1998 Sariah Anne was their first daughter to be born, via a scheduled c/s, due to breech presentation.

Joe continued to work hard and Stephanie grew into her new roll as mother. Soon they were expecting their second child, another daughter. Rachel Elizabeth was born on February 3rd, 2000 via a hospital VBAC.

After becoming pregnant so fast after Sariah Stephanie decided to try some birth control. We chose to try Depo-Provera which turned out at the time to not be a good choice. After several complications and near death experiences Stephanie went off birth control. She struggled for months as her body tried to become normal again. Through research of her own on the Depo-provera birth control she decided to launch her first web site warning other women about the dangers depo-provera can cause.

Almost a year after starting depo-provera they were finally able to become pregnant again. This time they were expecting their first son, Mason Nicholas. After some difficulties with the OB/GYN staff and encouragement from education and friends they decided to go for their first homebirth. With Stephanie's 2 birth trained friends and her adoring husband by her side they successfully birthed Mason Nicholas at home in the family bathtub on January 25, 2002

About 7 months later and with the job situation not working well for them they decided to move back to New York. We packed up and we were soon in New York. Less than 20 hours later Stephanie and the 3 kids (aged 7mo, 2,& 3) were on a bus to Michigan to go live with her family while Joe lived with his family and searched for a job.

About a month later Joe moved to Michigan too, where he picked up his search for a job. Stephanie was working as a cashier and soon Joe was working too. They soon found a place to live as well.

Meantime in January of 2003 they were surprised to find out they were expecting another child in September. After having had a great birth experience with Mason they decided on doing another unassisted pregnancy and Unassisted birth. On August 23, 2003 Liam Joseph, joined our family.

We quickly became pegnant again without any warning. So we found out in February of 2004 that were again expecting a surprised blessing in October. On October 8th, 2004 Kaden Luis joined our family by yet another unassisted home-water-birth.

In September 2004, after a few months of trying the family found out they were going to have yet another addition to their brood. This time they rounded out their family with another girl Jaylen May, who was born May 11, 2006, also an unassisted pregnancy and home-water-birth. She was the family's biggest baby so far at 10lbs 9oz!

As soon as January 2007 started Stephanie suddenly became ill. Through this illness (gastroenteritis) she discovered that she was yet again pregnant with baby number seven. Evan David was born September 2nd 2007 via, UC waterbirth. He weighed in at 7lbs 15oz.

On April 24th, 2009 Stephanie had weight loss surgery called a Vertical Sleeve gastrectomy (VSG). She is doing really well with her weight loss and in November 2009 we discovered we were unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised with yet another pregnancy.

Currently Joe and Stephanie turn 35 this year (2010), Sariah is 11, Rachel is 10, Mason is 8, Liam is 6, and Kaden almost 5, Jaylen 3, Evan is 2 and Adelyn Grace is Due in July 2010. Adelyn will probably be our last addition to our family, and we are pleased with our nice round family with 4 girls and 4 boys, if you don't count mom and dad, that is.

Joe is currently unemployed and has been since the beginning of 2009. (See Resume) Stephanie is a SAHM, working on her web-sites, and home schooling the kids. The kids are . . . well, being kids.

That about sums it up!

We are also a non-vaxing, non-circumcising, co-sleeping, sling wearing, home birthing, cloth diapering, attatchment parenting, home schooling, frugal living, loving family.

Mommy and Daddy were married on June 20, 1998
