Updated pictures of our almost 2yo Adelyn! She's a ham and still a BIG mover and a shaker. She loves to dance & sing. She makes up songs all the time. She tries desperately to keep up with big siblings and gets frustrated and demanding when she can't. She loves cats and other stuffed animals, and enjoys exploring the world around her.
We're starting to potty train her in the hopes of having a few months of not having to change one for a while.

Adelyn Grace morales, decided today was a good day to be born!
She kind of took her time getting her, making the family wait a "long" 3hr and 12min before finally showing up at 5:17pm.
Ady weighed in looking tiny but weighing a surprising 8lbs 4oz. I nice healthy weight. She was 21½" long too.
Aside from Evan who fell asleep waiting for Ady to arrive, everyone was around watching her enter into the world.
Adelyn has been a great addition to our family and we are so very thankful to have her join our crazy chaotic Morales World.

We are finally 32 weeks along now! Adelyn has so far gotten into position but still enjoys jamming her butt and feet into my ribs on my right side at night and keep me up for most of the night.
I'm measuring perfect for dates and I haven't gained much of anything, weight wise, either. Aunt Pam announced that she was going to have another baby in November too, so Ady will have a cousin her age. I'm kind of hoping she has a boy though. We need more boys in the family!
Everything is quiet around here so there isn't much to report. Just a good 6-8 week left before Adelyn arrives! My best guess is she'll arrive between July 8th and July 12th. Of course we'll have to see how things have progresed by that point too.

FINAL name announcement. She WILL be Adelyn Grace Morales, Ady for short. I will say that I really LOVED the name Adyson/Addison but because Wendy had already used it and knowing how my mother feels about cousins being named the same Adelyn was my alternative name choice.
Yes, as you know I played with the name choice Arden, because it came up while looking for a boy name, but in the end I really feel Adylen is what this little one wants to be called. No more changing it either!
She will be my little love bug and so we are going with a Ladybug theme for her. I've been drawn to ladybugs for this baby for a long while now so I am happy that it's a girl and I can really have a lot of fun with it.

Okay, yes, call me nuerotic, but the baby's name isn't as set as we thought. It's a good thing she isn't born and we still have time to settle and decide, right?!
Basically, we still love all 3 names - Adelyn Grace, Arden Lily, & Arden Willow - but nothing is 100% yet. Evan AND Jaylen both call the baby Adelyn and I seem to go back and forth on her name throughout the days. Some days I unconciously call her Adelyn and other days I call her Arden! It's really driving me NUTS!!!
I'm really hoping that by the end of the week if not month we'll have the name completely nailed down and decided upon.
If anything at least we like all 3 names:
Adelyn Grace
Arden Lily
Arden Willow
Now to just pick ONE!!!
The good news is that her baby blanket is done, LOL

Yesterday was our "BIG" ultrasound.
Our plans were to have the whole family go together and learn the gender of the baby. However over the weekend all the kids caught the cold I had the previous week so I wasn't about to take all the sick kids to an office filled with pregnant women. So they stayed home while Joe and I went for the ultrasound.
I had convinced myself that the baby was going to be a boy, mostly because I wanted a girl so badly I figured I wouldn't get what I wanted so I resolved myself to baby being a boy. So when the tech said that baby was a girl I was SHOCKED and even questioned her several times over. She gave up 3 gender shots to prove baby was indeed a GIRL!!!

I am so over the moon thrilled and still a tad stunned!

The day after Thanksgiving morning sickness set in. Mommy is having difficulty eating but she thankfully hasn't thrown up . . .YET.
Mommy seems to be sleeping a lot too so hopefully that will help reassure her that everything is going well with me.
I am nearly 7 weeks gestated now and mommy is going to be really busy in the coming weeks. I only hope I don't make her too sick or too tired to do what she needs to do.
Mommy and Daddy don't know if I am a boy or a girl yet, and I'm not telling them any time soon, but they have already picked out my names. If I am a girl they want to call me Adelyn Grace. If I am a boy they want to call me Ashton Michael. I think I like both of them so hopefully in a few more months they'll be able to find out who I am exactly so I can have an official name.

We are quietly announcing:

We want to approach this cautiously incase this pregnancy ends in a miscarriage again. We will make this official after the New Year or once we hear the baby's heartbeat.
This was an unexpected surprise for us and we JUST found out about this!
